Consider the following when planning a new or replacement bathroom:

• Plenty of space? - go for a separate bath and shower, even consider a large walk-in shower; not much space? - go for a modern, stylish showerbath, which combines the benefits of both in a compact package.
• Optimise available space - for using the basin and toilet, and for drying off after a bath or shower
• Consider storage - what do you need to store in the room itself?
• Don't forget heating and ventilation - underfloor heating offers comfort with no impact on space
• Flooring - we recommend either tiles or vinyl flooring. Carpet is easily damaged by water, laminate can also suffer. Tiles are easy to clean and dry, but can be cold underfoot and slippery. • If you are going for a contemporary style bathroom, use white or light coloured tiles - add splashes of colour with towels, etc - you can then change the theme if you tire of it.
